CRKT 5150 Hitchcock Hole In
One, PlainEdge, Five Small Blade Holes.
The CRKT
Hitchcock Hole In One Knife,
designed by custom knifemaker Tom Hitchcock, features a 2.5" modified
Wharncliffe style blade made of
420J2 stainless steel, .14" thick, with a
Rockwell hardness of 52-55 HRC. The
flat ground blade has five lightening holes and a bead blast
finish. The
420J2 stainless steel perimeter frame handle, 5.25" closed,
has swells at the top, bottom and butt to add comfort without
weight. The locking mechanism provides 12 locking points
for strength and security and locks both open and closed.
Most importantly when the knife is gripped tightly during use,
the lock also grips tighter for increased safety. To open,
simply press down on the lock release lever and rotate it to
either side until the lock snaps firmly into place in the open
position. This is a fast one-hand operation. A
spring loaded carry Carabiner, which doubles as a bottle and jar
opener, is built into the blade so the knife can be carried on
belt loops, D-Rings, webbing or lanyards.
This knife does not have a pocket
clip. Overall length:
8.125". Weight: 3.8 ounces.
