The Microtech MAKORA is the latest extension of Microtech's original out-the-front, (OTF), automatic knife design, engineering and fabrication arts. The concept for this knife evolved from the famous Microtech Ultratech design which has been thoroughly field tested and proven, as well as the QD SCARAB, a larger, heavier knife from the same foundations. This exclusive Microtech design incorporates many features desired and specified by users who prefer this highly effective and efficient extreme auto over any other knife. Among the many desirable features of the MAKORA is that its springs remain in an "at rest" position at all times except when the deployment button is pushed. This means no fatigued compressed springs when the knife is not being used. This gives users the reliability and confidence that when the release is pushed, the knife will operate. Produced in extremely limited qualities, the MAKORA is designed exclusively for military and law enforcement applications by authorized personnel only.
