Ontario BWS1 Black Wind Sword - Katana.  Black Wind swords feature high performance, razor sharp Carbon Steel blades with epoxy finish for lasting good looks.  The handles are nylon Para-cord wrapped. Blades are a full 0.187" thick, providing a solid heft in the hand and rugged durability in use.  The blades are made of high performance carbon steel with razor sharp honed and polished edges.  They are well-balanced and expertly tempered.  Each sword is supplied with a custom thermo-molded quick release Kydex® sheath with unique Cordura® loops to allow multiple carrying and wearing options. Kydex is impervious to mildew, rot, most chemicals and solvents, and the outdoor elements. Provides excellent impact and abrasion resistance and does not retain moisture.
