our printed catalog may be illegal to own or possess in your locality or
may be illegal to possess if you are under the age of 21. It's your
responsibility to check all local laws concerning the ownership, use and
possession of any item listed in the Oso Grande website or catalog. By
placing an order, you acknowledge that you are of legal age and that you
have read Oso Grande's terms & conditions!
Various
Laws: It is your
responsibility to check all federal, state and municipal laws concerning
the use, ownership and possession of any product in this Website and/or our printed
catalog. If any
product or order is confiscated by local authorities or customs, Oso
Grande will
not replace it. Legal
action will be taken against any entrapment attempts by law enforcement
agencies.
Minimum Order:
There is no minimum order to
be eligible for the services of Oso Grande.
Payment
Policy:
We accept Visa,
MasterCard and Discover Card/NOVUS.
In the case of backorders, we will not charge your credit card for an item
until it is shipped. We also accept checks, money orders and wire
transfers for pre-paid orders.
Orders
paid by check or money order will be delayed 15 working days for
clearance. There will be a $25 charge for returned checks.
Sorry but we do not accept C.O.D. or cash orders. Applicable sales
tax will be added to orders shipping to California.
Credit Card Policy:
For security purposes, the cardholder name and
shipping address is verified on all credit
cards. We only accept orders from the person whose name and address
is on file with the credit card company as an authorized buyer. We
will only ship to the credit card billing address and person who is
verified by the credit card company. Credit cards are not
automatically charged when you place your online order, all processing is
done after we verify customer billing information and inventory
levels. Once your order has been processed an email will be sent,
notifying you that we have shipped your order.
We will only
process shipments to the parties credit card billing address. Only the
credit card holder may sign for the delivery. No exceptions are
made to this policy.
We do not
accept international credit card orders from customers outside the United
States, nor do we accept international credit cards for orders to ship
within the United States.
International Sales Policy:
We do not process credit card orders from customers outside of the United
States. The payment options are as follows:
(1) Wire Transfers: You can
mail us an International Cashiers Check drawn on a U.S. bank. All payments must be made in U.S. dollars.

Canada Customers: On most
orders, shipping to Canada is $25.00-$35.00. Email us for details.
New
customers: Please supply us
with your complete telephone number,
including the area code, when placing orders. This will allow us to call
you if there is a problem with your order.
In Stock Product
and Backordered Product: Oso
Grande always likes to fill your order 100%.
Unfortunately this does not happen all the time, mainly due to
shortages of product from manufacturers.
Also, many special edition and surplus items are available in
limited quantities and are subject to prior sale. We apologize in advance
if the item you want is sold out.
Unless otherwise notified, Oso Grande will always
immediately ship all of the products in an order that are in stock.
If some, but not all of the products in an order are in stock, Oso
Grande will immediately ship the in stock portion of the order, unless
specifically notified by the customer not to ship partial orders.
Unless notified otherwise at the time of the original order, Oso Grande
will always ship backordered product as soon as we receive the product
from the manufacturer.
If an item is out of stock at the time
you place your order it will be backordered for you. We reserve the
right to cancel very small or very old backorders. We reserve the
right to accumulate small backorders for consolidation to economical
shipping size. Backorders incur shipping charges, but usually at a
lesser rate based on original order and items shipped.
Prices: Due to manufacturers'
price increases, prices are subject to change without notice. Orders
will be billed at prices in effect at time of order.
Shipping
Schedule: Orders
will be shipped within one (1) business day of receipt (example: orders
received on Monday will be shipped by the close of business on Tuesday.) From time to time,
due to volume fluctuations, this may not be possible and orders may take
longer to ship. All
orders are shipped from our
Southern California
distribution center.
Damaged
Products, Defective Products & Product Warranties:
All merchandise sold by Oso
Grande is covered by various manufacturers’ warranties against defective
merchandise. Because
of the large volume of merchandise shipped, it is not possible for Oso
Grande to check individual items prior to shipping. As
such, every item is assumed to have left the manufacturers' factory in
new, undamaged condition. erchandise sold
by Oso Grande becomes subject to the specific manufacturers warranty and
is not the responsibility of Oso Grande. Items
that are damaged or defective are the responsibility of the product
manufacturer and accordingly, all Warranty claims should be submitted directly to the
product manufacturer.
Return
Goods Policy:
Merchandise may be returned with a Return Authorization Number issued by
the Customer Service Department. Oso Grande customers MUST obtain a Return Authorization
number (RA#) before attempting to return any merchandise to Oso Grande.
Oso Grande will only accept the return of “NON-DEFECTIVE/UNDAMAGED”
merchandise. Merchandise
returned to Oso Grande must be in new (not used) condition. Items which
are returned with obvious wear marks, scratches, dulled blades, missing
paperwork, or original box will be sent back to the customer and no credit
will be issued. Defective and/or
damaged merchandise must be returned directly to the product manufacturer.
All
returns MUST be pre-approved and have an authorized return number
(RA#). ALL RETURNS ARE SUBJECT TO A MINIMUM 20% CHARGE (Except miss-shipped
product). Shipping charges are non-refundable. No returns accepted after
15 days. No returns accepted
without an RA#. RA #’s have a validity period of 15 days from the
date of issue, No cash refunds on returned merchandise.
Returns will be handled via the phone only, no other methods will
be accepted.
All
returns of merchandise must clearly show the Oso Grande authorized return
number (RA#) on the outside of the package and a copy of the return
authorization must be included in the package.
Unauthorized returns may be refused and returned to the customer
freight collect. All returns
must be sent and delivered to Oso Grande freight prepaid or the shipment
will be refused.
We recommend shipping
through UPS or Fedex with appropriate insurance to cover the replacement
cost of the item. If the item is lost, damaged, or stolen before it
reaches our store, we cannot process the return / exchange, nor will we
issue a refund.
Non-Returnable
Items: All consumables, clothing, apparel, footwear, headwear, gloves,
eyewear, safety & protective products, flashlights, batteries, books,
videos, dvd's, pepper spray, lubricants, polishes, protectants, camping
and outdoor equipment, hydration packs, hydration bladders, lighters & firestarters,
tents, stoves, heaters, coolers, lanterns, and watercraft are all
non-returnable items.
Refused Shipments:
Shipments which are refused and returned to Oso Grande by the carrier,
both International or domestic, will be subject to a 20% restocking fee,
plus any applicable shipping costs.
Order
Cancellations: Order's cancelled prior to being charged
through the customer's credit card issuer will not be assessed a
return/cancellation charge. Order's cancelled at any point after the
customer's credit card has been charged will be subject to a 20%
return/cancellation charge. Additional shipping charges may also be
incurred if the order is cancelled after the merchandise has been shipped
as noted above. All orders must be cancelled via the telephone,
email is not acceptable.
Lost Shipments: In most cases UPS will
settle a claim for lost goods within 10 business days. In the event
that a shipment is lost, Oso Grande cannot replace a UPS shipment until
their investigation is complete.
Other
Programs & Support. All Oso Grande merchandise is
sold under the terms and conditions set forth above. All publication
and distribution of OSO GRANDE catalogs and/or price lists does not
constitute an offer to sell.
While
every attempt has been made to insure accuracy, OSO GRANDE is not bound to
