The Spyderco Captain Knife, designed by Jason Breeden, features a
3 1/16" modified drop point blade made of VG10 stainless steel with
notched thumb ramp and Spyderco hole for ambidextrous one hand opening.
The blade has two opposing cutting angles; one that curves inward and
one that curves out. The inward curve holds what is being cut against
the cutting edge, ideal for cutting in the downward motion associated
with severing rope and line. The outward curve bulges out at the blade
tip, providing an edge for close, controlled cutting such as skinning.
The contoured black G10 handle, 4 1/8" closed, has dual steel
liners, liner lock and a lined lanyard hole. A side to side and end to
end reversible black metal pocket clip is included. Overall length: 7
3/16". Weight: 4.75 ounces.
