than 100 years of Special Ops "Know How". Unlike some
companies that import knives and attach "Special OPS" style
names to their products, TOPS took exactly the opposite approach.
They enlisted the support of 11 Operators with backgrounds in the
Military, Law Enforcement, Outdoor Professions, and the Martial Arts, with
service around the world who used their combined knowledge, experience and
operational know-how at the "sharp end" to design the ultimate
knives suitable for virtually any tactical purpose.
Tested to the extremes in the
mean streets of LA; the plains of Africa; and the jungles of Peru; TOPS
KNIVES are the result of the unique cooperative effort. Our Team is
comprised of individuals from: SEAL Team 3, Command Master Chief;
Columbus- Officer Street Survival Instructor; Special Forces A-Team;
Rhodesian SAS, Selous Scouts; Phoenix S.W.A.T. Team; Marine Force Recon;
Atlanta-Marshall SWAT; Special OPS Groups; Tacoma- Street Defense
Instructor; Airborne Rangers; Martial Arts Instructors.
Add to the array the skills of one knife
maker, a former teacher of physics and chemistry who applied his
scientific and technical know-how to perfecting the metallurgy, balance
and cutting angles. Also an Outdoor Educator, who designs and field
tests new products.
TOPs Knives have been requested and deployed
in many parts of the world. Numerous individuals who are active Field
