The Smith & Wesson HRT 1st Gen OTF knife features an exciting out-the-front mechanism. Simply push the slider near the base of the blade to get the blade moving. Once you reach a certain point the knife takes over and rockets the blade out and locks it solidly into place. To retract the blade, just pull down on the slider and lock it back into place (automatic ejection, manual retraction). The stainless blade is coated with titanium nitride. The black Zytel handle provides maximum strength and is very lightweight. Other features include a Sliding safety, pocket clip and a glass breaker.
