The Smith and Wesson Midsize S.O.R.T (Special Operations Rescue Team) knife features an assisted opening mechanism--give the blade flipper or the ambidextrous thumb stud a push and the knife takes over, opening the blade quickly and securely. This smaller sized knife is both comfortable and practical for EDC. The blade is a bead blasted 4034 stainless steel drop point blade. The Champagne aluminum handle has knurled traction texturing for positive grip and a liner lock mechanism. The pocket clip is mounted at the pivot end for easy tip-down carry and a safety switch protects against accidental openings.
