C11PGRE: Delica4 ZDP-189 British Racing Green FRN Handle
The knife industry is constantly pushing the envelope searching for, and testing, higher performance blade steels. ZDP189 is rapidly asserting itself as an up-and-coming steel. It's a powdered metal made by Hitachi that has phenomenal chemistry with 3% carbon. The hardness is around 64Rc and edge retention is exceptional. This solid ZDP-189 steel blade is the hottest, hardest and highest performing steel in the knife industry today.
The Delica knife is just like the Endura, but a smaller, more compact version. This winning Spyderco knife was the first of its kind on the market, a lightweight performance, one-hand opening pocket knife that just about everyone could afford. The Delica knife features screw construction making cleaning and adjusting easier. The fiberglass reinforced nylon handles come molded with Bi-Directional Texturing for great traction. Phosphor bronze bushings smooth out the action and the pocket clip is four-way reversible for tip-up, tip-down, left- or right-handed carry.
I was able to find an Emerson Mini A-100 which was unavailable or back ordered elsewhere. The price was good and shipping was very quick (two days). I will definitely buy though them again.
