The QTR-5z is a reimagined and final version of the smaller, more pocket-friendly karambit design “Theodore TC Calvin.” This karambit out-performs ALL others where it counts. The out-of-pocket blade opening feature has been further improved with micro-jimping on the spine of the 0.22" thick blade. The blade steel has been upgraded to CPM-S35VN stainless steel and the frame, spacer and show side scale have all been upgraded to titanium alloy. Quartermaster took a fresh look at this design and asked themselves how they could create a timeless classic. With countless improvements to the design and manufacturing processes, we think they've certainly succeeded.
