C189PGY: Spyderco Roadie Slip Joint Knife Grey
Spyderco Knives

The Spyderco Roadie folding knife was made to comply with the TSA's 2013 plan to, once again, allow knives on airplanes with a myriad of restrictions. Although the plan was withdrawn by the TSA faster than it was conceived, Spyderco stands ready with a unique new non-locking folder called the Roadie for the time when knives are once again allowed on planes.

The Spyderco Roadie is a high evolved and specialized pen knife with a fully flat ground sheepsfoot style blade that features a new trademarked Double Dent for fingernail-free, easy two-hand opening. An improved notched-joint mechanism holds the blade open during use and is backed by a subtle index finger choil to prevent accidental closure. Contoured fiberglass-reinforced nylon scales and well executed runs of jimping on the choil and spine enable this knife to perform precision cuts and perform well beyond its diminutive size.

The Roadie is a unique knife that is an excellent choice for localities with highly restrictive knife laws.

The Roadie is available in a variety of different colors, the Spyderco Roadie is a user-friendly, high-utility knife for the modern man!

Very well made little pocket knife. Even though it is a slip joint folder, the blade locks in place solidly. Excellent design, and so light in the pocket that you won't even know that you are carrying it. Great blade steel.
