To use a shaving stick like ARKO, you rub the stick all over your (wet) face, then whip up the lather with a wet brush. Quite frugal, well-suited for today's penny-pinching times. I have tried alot of different shaving soaps over the years and the ARKO still remains one of my favorites. Not to mention, it is the most economical shave soaps on the planet! Yet, it gives a much better shave than any shaving foam (IMHO) that comes out of a can.
It works as well or better than most shaving soaps, has a distinctive fragrance, and eliminates the necessity for a shaving mug. Definitely worth a try.
