The Cold Steel US Army Officers Saber is truly a battle worthy reproduction sword. This sword is faithful in every detail to government specifications; it has a highly polished blade, appropriate etching and a quality hilt and scabbard. The only real change is a drastic improvement in performance as a weapon because the blade is forged from 1055 Carbon Steel and properly heat treatied to a tough spring temper before sharpening.

This light weight saber features a 32" moderately curved blade forged out of 1055 Carbon Steel and a sharp, useful point. The 5.5" handle grip is equally well made, being wrapped in black leather and strongly protected by a nickel-silver hilt. It's double ringed, steel scabbard, can be easily attached to a saddle or to a belt. Overall length: 37.5". Weight: 22.1 ounces.
