39LABS: Cold Steel Natchez Bowie Knife SK-5 Steel Fixed Blade
"Under-The Hill" was the notoriously rowdy riverfront district of Natchez, Mississippi at the beginning of the nineteenth century. So disreputable, it was seldom mentioned in the polite drawing rooms of the antebellum mansions that dotted the other side of town during the era when cotton was king.
Our Natchez Bowie was born "Under-The-Hill" and takes its pedigree from those seedy taverns and dimly lit streets. Line-bred for battle, it's the definitive fighting Bowie. Its long blade is perfectly shaped for strength, reach and leverage, and its significant heft is flawlessly balanced, giving it unparalleled liveliness and velocity. Combine all that with its wickedly razor sharp edge and you have a knife that pierces like a dagger, cuts like a razor and chops like a cleaver!

The knife is diesel. Great for raiding ships. At almost 12" blade length I can't bring it everywhere without looking like a crazy. My only issue is I got caught in a storm camping in Maine, some moisture must have got caught in the sheath because the blade got damaged (finish).
Sharp, well made, a real beast of a knife. This is what a Bowie should feel like. Jim Bowie would approve!
Wonderful bowie! Extremely well built and razor sharp right out of the box! A must have for any Bowie collector! grab it from here at the best price! Way to go Cold Steel you never disappoint!
The Cold Steel Natchez Bowie in San Mai steel was way out of my budget. As soon as this version in carbon steel became available I grabbed it up without hesitation. It was well worth the wait and the price.
