A design collaboration between Cold Steel President Lynn C Thompson and custom knife-maker Andrew Demko, the Black Talon II is a modern masterpiece!
The Black Talon II folder boasts a sinuously curved, needle sharp blade with the distinctive down-swept point and pronounced belly of the original, but with high end American XHP super-steel and a redesigned tip for additional strength and durability.
The textured premium USA G10 scales offer maximum retention and grip even in cold or wet conditions while still being kind on your clothing when drawn from the pocket.
The contrast between the deep black of the scales and the exquisite rich satin polished blade further emphasize the flair and style of this good-looking and elegant folder.

I absolutely love this new folder from Cold Steel. I bought the Black Talon II with the serrations from www.osograndeknives.com and it's absolutely beautiful. I would recommend this knife to anyone that's looking for a great self-defense knife or needs a great emergency knife for Law Enforcement, Military, or Emergency Response Work. The shape of this blade is ideal for cutting through fibrous materials like seatbelts, rope, and clothes. And, with the Andrew Demko, Cold Steel, Tri-Ad Lock and Carpenter CTS-XHP Super Stainless Steel, you can't beat it; mine came sharper than any other knife I ever received from Cold Steel. Also, I love the new, thinner, American G-10 scale or handle pattern. It's not as aggressive as the prior G-10 handle patterns offered by Cold Steel and it conceals very nicely in my pants pocket. The new pattern makes it less rough on your pants pockets. But, it still has a really great feel and non-slip grip. This is one of the nicest knives that I have bought in a while. It's definitely going to be my new SD/U/EDC folder. In my opinion, it's a must have.
