This Schrade Ceramic Folding Knife is not your typical classic folder. This affordable folder features a Zirconia ceramic blade that has been sharpened to a very fine edge that stays razor sharp for a long time and 2nd only in hardness to diamond. It's great edge retention has made ceramic one of the big up-and-coming blade materials. This knife has combined the excellent cutting capabilities and edge retention of ceramic with a sleek, modern profile. Ceramic blades will not transfer metal irons to foods and are impervious to acids and oils from fruits and vegetables. This lightweight and well-balanced knife features textured G-10 handles that are comfortable in hand with a lanyard slot which allows you to customize your knife. The knife opens easily with either hand using the ambidextrous thumb studs and the secure liner lock holds the razor sharp ceramic blade firmly in the open position. A black stainless steel pocket clip is included for convenient carry. This ceramic folder is well-designed and despite the obvious quality of the knife, Schrade has managed to make it affordable for anyone.
