The Schrade Ultra-Glide flipper knife features ti-nitride steel handles with carbon fiber inlays. Ultra-Glide, or UG, is a ball bearing pivot pin technology that allows for ultra smooth opening. Carbon fiber is a woven composite of graphite fibers fused together with an epoxy resin. The result is an ultra lightweight material with an extreme tensile strength. This attractive design features fast operation via the dual thumb studs for quick, easy deployment. It is a great EDC carry option with a tip-down stainless steel pocket clip and liner lock mechanism.
