The Karambit style knife was an ancient Indonesian utility knife used for self defense. Introducing the ultimate 21st Century Folding Knife from Emerson Knives. This Folding Karambit brings you the first in the next generation of folding knives. With the advantage of the Emerson "Wave Feature", this is one of the finest personal defense weapons ever developed.

The Super Karambit is not available with serrations. The Super Karambit features the patented wave shaped opening feature or Remote Pocket Opener. In an emergency or injury situation the knife can be opened with one hand as it is drawn from the pocket. The Super Karambit knife features a superior reinforced tip design to beef up the point and prevent damage to a very delicate point as on previous models. Emerson also changed to using threaded standoffs rather than the solid backspacer that was used on the previous models. These positive improvements have resulted in a stiffer handle, especially in the ring pommel area. Overall the design and function of the knife is vastly improved.
