Pat and Wes Crawford out of West Memphis, Arkansas are a father and son team that pride themselves on their 100% handmade custom knives. Their shop has the capabilities to produce all their own parts and they hand grind and hand fit and finish every component. You're probably familiar with some Crawford designs produced by CRKT. These are just as functional but take that simplistic CRKT design and make them really pop!

This custom Point Guard EDC folder is a slim, lightweight knife with classic lines. The drop point blade is slender, made from ATS-34 stainless with a two-tone Polished finish on the flats and black finish on the bevels and with a false top edge and a thumbdisc. The black anodized titanium handle is ergonomic, perfectly jimped and milled to remove all unnecessary weight from the design. The knife includes a decorative custom pivot, ambidextrous thumb disc, bronze washers and tip-down stainless steel pocketclip. Comes with a zippered case. It's a fantastic utility knife from some of the best in the industry.

Pat Crawford and his son Wes are recognized as leading practitioners of the bladesmith's craft. Their company, Crawford Knives, is located in West Memphis, Arkansas. Pat, a pioneer in the combat folder genre, has been a member of the Knifemakers' Guild since 1973. He was among the first to integrate titanium into his folder, and to skeletonize his frames and handles to reduce weight and enhance the grip of the knife. He uses the stock removal method, specializing in high tech, self defense tactical folders, favoring different and unique knives. Handle materials include wood, ivory, stag horn, micarta, and other exotic materials when available. Pat says, "The reason I make knives is for the personal satisfaction I receive in being my own boss, and producing a thing of beauty that will stand the test of time." Pat designed the CRKT Point Guard, Crawford / Kasper Folders and Falcon series.
