The dual thumb studs for ambidextrous one-hand opening and the patented LAWKS safety for a virtual fixed blade when actuated after the blade is opened and locked.
The high-hollow-grind drop point 8Cr13MoV stainless steel blade is satin finished, as is the heavy-duty InterFrame, which is built true to Kit's design, with dual stainless steel liners, one locking, and a stainless steel back spacer.
The M4 is a Kit Carson designed knife from CRKT, in a smaller every day carry (EDC) size. The M4-02W is a deluxe model with the traditional look of burl wood scales and brushed stainless steel bolsters.
