Fox Knives is keeping things stylish with the Jesper Voxnaes-designed Suru frame lock flipper. The blackened stonewash finish on the blade looks fantastic against the green anodized and weathered finish of the aluminum frame.

The Suru can be opened with either a flipper or a small blade cutout. A ball-bearing pivot ensures smooth and consistent action, making the Suru a joy to open. A steel insert on the lock bar provides a solid experience.

Small but mighty, the handles are designed to accommodate a variety of grips, bringing the 2.32” clip point blade to bear. The finger guard provided by the flipper provides protection for your fingers, and for even closer work a generous choil in front of the flipper/guard allows you to choke up for more precision. The handle length can even be lengthened by adding a lanyard or custom bead to the exposed lanyard hole, granting extra style and grip for your pinky finger.

Böhler N690 steel backs up the good looks of the Suru with serious performance and the blackened stonewash finish adds extra durability and corrosion resistance.

Completing the package is black-finished hardware including a deep-carry wire clip. Stylish and functional, this clip allows for discreet carry in a tip-up, right side carry configuration.

    N690

The cobalt-alloyed N690 by Böhler (not to be confused with the lower-grade N695) is a very reliable upper middle-grade steel Fox uses for a wide variety of projects. The fine-grained N690, which ranks above 440C, offers convincing performance data in all areas. It is often sold as N690Co – the "Co" stands for cobalt and describes the exact same steel.
