The Backup XL Bowie knife by Shadowtech Knives is the larger brother of the regular Backup knife model. The Backup XL knife is designed to serve as a heavy-duty yet still concealable knife for harsh, rugged applications. This well built, hard use tactical fixed blade is made from tough 1095 high carbon steel. The blade is 1/4" thick and has been heat treated to 57-58HRC and has a non-reflective black traction coating for rust and corrosion resistance. OD green Micarta scales along with a deep index choil and flared butt end keep this knife comfortably and safely in your grip. This knife comes with a fully ambidextrous Kydex sheath which can be carried in multiple positions. The multi-carry sheath enables the user to carry the knife in almost any way imaginable, including cross draw, left, right or small of the back. You can also run Molle straps through it and the belt loop is also removable so you can lace it to your gear with paracord. The Backup XL knife is excellent fixed blade for EDC use or as a backup knife in addition to your main tactical weapon.
