Basic Shipping

For orders that don't qualify for free shipping, OsoGrandeKnives.com offers an efficient and inexpensive USPS Ground shipping service within the United States (including Hawaii and Alaska and US territories). This is a reliable and economical ground service for less-than-urgent deliveries. All orders are insured against loss and damage.

Please note that some items cannot be shipped via USPS (i.e. Pepper Sprays) and we reserve the right to modify your shipping selection if necessary.

Delivery Time for Basic Shipments. Most orders are dispatched within 1-2 business days from our Idaho distribution center. The day an order ships does not count as a shipping day. All shipping times are calculated in business days. USPS does not deliver packages on Sundays or Holidays. Typical USPS Ground Advantage delivery time is 3-7 days (see the delivery chart here). Delivery outside the continental USA generally takes longer (i.e. to Hawaii, Puerto Rico, etc).

Expedited Air Shipping

If you need an item fast you can purchase one of the Expedited Air Shipping options (i.e. Priority Mail, 3-Day Shipping, or 2-Day Shipping). Full preference is given to expedited orders and in most cases you will receive your order within 3 business days. Orders must be placed no later than 9:00AM PST for same day shipping. Some items cannot be shipped via Expedited Air (i.e. Flamables, Pepper Sprays, etc.) and we reserve the right to modify your shipping selection if necessary.

Items Ineligible for Expedited Air Shipping. Some heavy, bulky or over-sized items cannot be shipped via Expedited Air Shipping. Also, Flamables, Pepper Sprays, etc. are not allowed. In the event that an Expedited Air Shipping Method is selected at checkout and any item on your order is too large or not allowed for Expedited Air Shipping we will refund the shipping difference and ship your order via standard shipping.

Please do not confuse a method of shipment with a shipping commitment. If you select 2-day shipping, that only guarantees that we will use that method of shipment once the item is available. It does not guarantee that you will receive the item the following day. If the item is in stock and the order is received prior to the distribution center cut off time, the shipment will most likely occur on the same day. Under no circumstances do we ever guarantee a delivery date, we only offer good faith estimates based on our historical transportation experience.

Shipping to Armed Forces APO/FPO Addresses

All shipping to Military APO and FPO addresses will be done via USPS and typically have a 5-10 day delivery time. When entering an order with an APO or FPO address please remember to use "United States" as your shipping country. Also please select "Armed Forces APO/FPO Addresses - USPS Priority Mail" as the shipping method. Your package will be routed to the correct destination no matter where you are actually located.

International Shipping

We apologize for the inconvenience, but we do not ship outside of the United States and the U.S. Territories.

General Shipping Information

Order Status & Shipment Tracking Information: When you complete your order, you will be emailed an order confirmation. When your order ships you will be sent an email notification with your tracking number. Please note that items shipped USPS do not have guaranteed delivery times. They will come with a tracking number and Delivery Confirmation. Generally, especially during the holidays, the package will only be scanned upon reaching its destination.

Out Of Stock Items: Approximately 99% of the items we sell are in stock. If an item is out of stock it is marked "Out of Stock" on the product page. If you don't want us to backorder an out-of-stock item please leave a comment when placing your order. Items which are not in stock at time your order is placed are usually back in stock within 3-7 days. Oversized Items: Free or flat rate shipping offers never apply to oversized items unless specifically stated on that item page. If you use a free or flat rate shipping method with a mix of normal items and oversize items we may have to ask for additional shipping fees due to the excessive cost of shipping large items like spears, swords, matchetes, axes, rifle bags, Pelican cases and any items exceeding one pound in weight.

Hazardous Items: Because flammable items must be sent via surface shipping, they may be shipped separately from the rest of your order.  Some items cannot be shipped via USPS (i.e. Lighter Fluid, Pepper Sprays, Camping Gas, Combustibles, etc.) and we reserve the right to modify your shipping selection if necessary.

Drop Shipments: We do not do drop shipments to or from a third party. We only ship to the credit card holder and their billing address.

Lost Shipments: Should a package be lost or damaged, it is the customer's responsibility to report the loss to OsoGrandeKnives so that the problem may be addressed in a timely manner. Lost USPS packages must be reported within 60 days of the original ship date. The postal service will not allow us to open a USPS claim before 45 days from the original ship date. If you feel that your USPS package has been lost, you must submit your concern in writing so that we may open a claim with the postal service. Please be aware that claims cannot be opened after 90 days, and OsoGrandeKnives assumes no responsibility for claims made after these time periods. Please note any shipment that goes out via Basic Shipping or USPS Priority Mail may not be rerouted by OsoGrandeKnives after the package is in transit.

Billing Policy: You will not be charged until the item(s) you ordered are secured from the supplier and ready to ship.

Warehouse Processing Times: We strive to process and ship orders quickly and most orders are dispatched within 1-2 business days. If we expect any delays you will be notified.

Various Laws: Please note that it is your responsibility to check all local laws concerning the ownership, use and possession of any item in the Oso Grande website and/or printed catalog. By placing an order, you acknowledge that you are of legal age and that you have read our terms and conditions! If any product or order is confiscated by local authorities or customs, we will not replace it.

The Fine Print

*Free Super Saver Shipping on orders over $99 of shippable product, excluding sales taxes. Package weight not to exceed 1 lb. Extra heavy, oversized packages, and multiple packages are excluded and will be charged the prevailing rate for USPS or UPS standard service. Available only for shipments within the United States (including Alaska, Hawaii, and US Territories) to a single U.S. address. Backordered items of less than $99 are not eligible for free shipping.  Canceling items, combining orders, or changing your shipping address, speed, or preference might affect your order's eligibility for Free Shipping. If you qualify for FREE Shipping but your order also contains one or more ineligible items, you'll be charged shipping fees for those ineligible items.

The only exceptions to our shipping rates are for extra heavy and oversized packages (Package weight not to exceed 1 lb.). We are unable to ship certain oversize packages to Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico. Oversize items (such as spears, swords, machetes, axes, staff's, clubs, etc.) are identified on the relevant web pages. If an incorrect shipping address is given there may be an address correction charge of $12.00.

Express Shipping Rates may vary based on weight, package size and final destination. The listed rates are the minimum charge for a small one (1) pound package. In the event that the actual charge exceeds the listed minimum charge an additional charge will be added. In any event, packages weighing in excess of one (1) pound or larger than a small (12"x3"x10") package will be subject to additional charges. Extra heavy, oversized packages, and multiple packages may only be shipped via Basic USPS Ground Service.

3 Day Shipping is not a guaranteed delivery. In most cases it is faster than ground service and it does get to you within three (3) business days but it is not guaranteed. In the event that the actual charge exceeds the listed minimum charge an additional charge will be added. In any event, packages weighing in excess of one (1) pound or larger than a small (12"x3"x10") package will be subject to additional charges. Extra heavy, oversized packages, and multiple packages may only be shipped via ground service.
