To give that dedicated audience something truly special, Spyderco decided to spice it up with a laminated blade featuring a high-performance HAP40 powdered metallurgy tool steel core and SUS410 martensitic stainless steel outer layers. Textured green G10 scales provide non-slip grip and further differentiate the Sprint Run version of the Caly 3 from the standard version.

A Spyderco Sprint Run is defined as a limited edition production of any Spyderco product in a configuration different than what has been previously produced. It can include changes in the handle color, materials, blade steel, coatings, etc. The quantity of each Sprint Run is generally 600 or 1,200 pieces, which is determined by Spyderco. Due to the very limited nature of this item and its high demand, we reserve the right to limit the quantity to one per customer.
