Anyone who has swung a hammer for a living will find this tomahawk to be a natural fit to their hand. It is a legit tomahawk with the ergonomics of a hammer. I cannot say enough good things about this.
This is an awesome tomahawk. And that is just what it is. A TOMAHAWK not a camp axe and a hatchet. Yes you can chop or split wood with it if you really had to. But this tomahawk is for braining bad guys and punching a murder hole in a wall. It is well balanced and throws nicely. Was sharp right out of the box but I did put it to stone and made it sharper. It has a full tang and a very comfortable grip.It is a bit long for belt carry. But the sheath does allow for it. All and all i was not disappointed. It has the quality I have come to except for Estwing.
Excellent tactical tomahawk from Estwing. They seem to always build a 5 star product & this one is no different.
THIS IS THE BEST TOMAHAWK EVER MADE. Light durable and a tank. I like SOG knives but this is so superior to the SOG Tomahawk. Keep the Estwing and throw the others in the trash. IF you go to war this, it is the one you would come home with.
