Assisted Opening Folders
Assisted opening knives use a spring activated mechanism to deploy the blade when a little pressure is applied. Often confused with switchblades, they have one main difference. While automatic opening switchblades are usually opened with the push of a button, the assisted knife user must apply pressure to the blade, usually at the thumb stud, thumbdisc or index flipper. Once the blade is opened about 20%-30%, the mechanism automatically completes the opening.
I am so glad I took a chance on this knife. I have no regrets at all. This was my first purchase. Fast delivery with good communication from seller. I did not expect this to be so sharp. I mean I can cut cans with no problem. Packaged well and item as described. Highly recommend, and will be back for more sharpness. Thanks for the great buying experience.
