This Brian Tighe custom design combines tradition and sophistication in an exceptionally rugged gentleman's folding knife. It's not a mechanical design, but is, as Blade magazine has put it, "artfully tactical." It is an exceptionally graceful design, which is built as ruggedly as possible.

Features the super strong InterFrame design with dual 420J2 stainless steel liners, one locking, with bead blast finished stainless steel bolsters and black Zytel® scales. Assembly is with superior Torx® fasteners throughout, and the blade pivots on Teflon® bearings. Castellated grooves at the handle spine improve grip and give a tactile sense of the handle location.

The spear point blade has a false edge on top, and is made from tough AUS 6M stainless steel, satin finished. A unique rectangular grooved thumb disk fits perfectly with the Tighe Tac's design. Removable custom gray, Teflon plated stainless steel clothing/gear clip, with Brian's "tie" logo discretely cut in. The Tighe Tac is a perfectly balanced work tool, and just as much at home in the pocket of a tuxedo as in denims.
