I wanted to see if I could make a functional spear with this little arrow head and I surprised my self and did just that. I then threw my spear into a dead stump and it stuck and held even after I pulled it out of the stump. I didn't think my rig method (sliced top of the wood arrow head in the middle and then tightly rapped 550 paracord) would be very functional, but this method held the little arrow head very strongly and I guess if I had to use it to try and fish or "hunt", well, although I'd probably be very bad at it.well, at least I'd have something. To me this is a strong sharp tuff little every day carry item in my "Mongo" Maxpidition bag. The little case that holds the two arrowheads is wonderfully functional. So, I give this item five stars. This idea seems like a no-brainer for one's survival bag. But, this is the first product that addresses the need. With these arrowheads one can fashion all sorts of survival items. They are extremely well made, extremely durable and very sharp. Recommended for anyone's survival gear.
