The Laser Stirke is an improved ESEE fixed blade knife with a spear point blade shape and a more ergonomic handle. This model does away with the striking pommel on the butt of the knife in lieu of a more comfortable grip. Jimping on the back spine of the knife is also improved, really locking your thumb in place. If you have experience with any of the regular ESEE knives, you will surely enjoy the new Laser Strike.

This knife is really impressive. After cutting down a small tree it is still razor sharp.
My only complain is the fire starter inside the knife, not very useful, it is better to have a separated one on the sheath.

Awesome hiking knife. Sharp as can be out of the box. Great for a light carry knife to take with you into the woods.

This is the best of quite a few knives I own. It's not the most glamorous, but if I had only one to choose to have for the rest of my life, this would be it. I actually prefer a bit longer blade, but this does things a longer blade would interfere with. I love it. Buy one from an Esee distributor, I did, that way you are sure to get the American made Esee and not a rip-off copy from China.

This is a great knife that is very well built and heavy. The sheath is very functional with a belt clip. You cant go wrong with any ESEE knife. The Laser Srike is about the size of the ESEE 4 with a better sheath and grip.
