We use wood as our primary source of heat, so we go through quite a bit of wood each winter. I got this axe to make kindling, and it works better than I anticipated. The size is perfect for one handed use, and it really chops the wood down to size. I've only been using it for a month, so I'm not sure how long the edge will hold up, but so far so good.
