In the year 1915, the German army ordered Böker to develop a compact combat knife that was, above all, suitable for trench warfare. On the 90th anniversary, Boker was again presented one of these knives and decided to produce them again, the original way! Features that are the same as the original: Blade is made out of non-stainless, carbon steel. The handle is from similar wood and has the old firm stamps and the sheath is made out of quality leather. Each item is serial numbered.

First off it is a beautiful, well made knife. It is not a reproduction by any means; these were used by the Germans in both World Wars and the serial numbers are continued from the last batch made in WW2. I intend to carry this alongside my pistol as a general use or back up knife. I will also use it for hunting and fishing. Well worth the price.
Nice and sharp, needle sharp point, nice scabbard. Super blade, I would buy another one in a heart beat!
