CRKT 2510 Bear Claw, Bead Blasted, Serrated, Blunt Tip. The CRKT Bear Claw knife is the production version of Russ Kommer's original Bear Claw, which has been a huge success. The design of the Bear Claw makes it ideal for many disciplines and people, from fishermen and parachutists, to the everyday person who demands a great self-defense tool. The combination of the hawksbill blade and the ergonomic handle with a finger-hole and jimping make this a hugely popular knife.
The Bear Claw 2510 is a professional model which has a blunt tip and serrated edge, making it ideal for law enforcement and emergency rescue personnel. The blade utilizes AUS-4 stainless steel with a bead blast finish and adds lightweight Zytel scales that are superbly contoured. Included is a Zytel sheath with a pocket clip and the hardware to attach it at either end. Also includes a lanyard.

The lack of a squeeze trigger for release made me nervous that it would fall out of the sheath if it was bumped, but so far it has stayed put. For the next design if they put a push button release in the finger hole it would keep it from ever releasing accidentally, but so far their stiff friction release is working fine.
Doing business with Oso Grande was a great experience. I highly recommend them.
