The Microtech A.D.O. (Alpha Detachment Operative) knife is machined from a solid billet of 440A stainless steel. This knife follows the design philosophy of Chris Reeve, with integral single-piece fixed blade knives with hollow handles. The hollow space inside the handle is perfect for storing small survival goodies and is easily accessed by unscrewing the glass breaker tip. The contents stored in the hollow handle remain completely dry because they are sealed with a water-tight o-ring seal. The ADO is an excellent large boot knife that is perfect for EDC. The A.D.O. includes a composite sheath with a spring loaded tab to secure knife and a 2" steel clip for belt carry. It’s the perfect size tactical fixed blade for every day carry.
