The QT500LS dive knife by Ocean Master is possibly the perfect knife for marine and underwater applications. The 5 inch blade has a strap cutter, serrated area, sharp sawback portion and is made from corrosion resistant Beta Titanium. The handle is grippy, comfortable, and provides excellent purchase, especially when wet. The sheath is specially designed to be used in the water. It features two separate retention systems to keep this blade from getting lost and it has numerous holes to aid in sheathing/unsheathing this knife in the water. Comes with two rubber leg straps for secure, no movement attachment to a leg or arm. The knife tang is titanium, extending into the handle and it has a stainless steel hammer end. Titanium knives do not need to be disassembled for maintenance where as stainless steel knives on the other hand require periodic disassembly. There are no frills on this knife that do no directly improve its usefulness as a diving tool.
