The QTR-2Z is a folding karambit-style knife with a bad attitude! The B.A. Baracus is aggressive, practical and alluring all at the same time. Named after Mr. T's fictional character B.A. (Bad Attitude) Baracus, he was known for his direct approach, combat skills and unique personality the QTR-2z personifies. B.A. Baracas was one of the first four designs that QTRMSTR came to market with back in 2012 and has enjoyed extreme popularity in several improved versions since. In 2012, the QTR-2 was a liner lock, and 18 months later it was re-introduced as a hybrid steel frame with a titanium frame lock. This final version is the finest by far. It boasts a full titanium frame, the most advanced ceramic ORB ball bearing system yet, a removable steel lock bar insert, and an open spine for easy cleaning. Finally, QTRMSTR placed jimping on the bi-level spine of the blade for easy pocket catch opening from concealed carry position.
The blade is forged from CPM-154 stainless steel which has great hardness and is very wear resistant. QTRMSTR said goodbye to the liner lock long ago in favor of a beefier frame lock, CNC milled from a billet of titanium. QTRMSTR engineered their own unique hardware and implemented the component as an oversized pivot; it allows their folding knives to pivot at the same speed throughout its smooth rotation. The ceramic ORB pivot system is a ball-bearing system that tightens the tolerances in and around the pivot of the QTR-2z. The result is a vault tight lock-up while the rollers allow for almost effortless rotation. The full titanium handle is extremely durable yet large enough to be comfortable in any size hand. The QTR-2z features a large pinky ring, multiple spots of jimping dispersed throughout the design, and a reversible tip-up carry pocket clip. This folding karambit is individually numbered and includes a certificate of authenticity.

About the ORB® Pivot System: The ORB® Pivot System is a sealed ball-bearing technology that is widely considered the second generation of an open-bearing system that is being used by some manufacturers today.
The ORB's advantages are plenty: dirt and pocket lint cannot impede the track of these rollers, they're encased. The ball-bearing system tightens the tolerances in and around the pivot of the folding knife, as a result the lock-up is vault tight, yet the rollers allow for almost effortless rotation.
The lack of "play" at any point on the rotational axis of the blade is truly unlike anything currently being made at this price point in the United States.
I want to thank Dave for his great customer service that he provided for me when i ordered my Quatermaster Hannibal QTR-4 Limo Tint. Thank You.
