The Spyderco PITS (Pie in the Sky) Folder is a faithful expression of British knifemaker Mike Read's popular slipjoint folding knife. Designed to be a tough, hard-use style folder that complies with strict British and other territorial knife laws. It features a broad clip-point blade flat ground from N690Co stainless steel. Its handle scales are precision machined from solid titanium and skeletonized to reduce weight and increase grip texture. The PITS knife also features integral split spring arms that power the knife's unique non-locking mechanism. This mechanism, along with a prominent lower guard on the blade, prevents accidental closure during use. Mike Read designed this knife to be a tough, hard-use folder and the combination of the lower blade guard with the integral spring action to prevent unintended closure. The PITS Folder includes Spyderco's deep carry wire clip for ambidextrous reversible tip-up carry.
