Since 1876, Camillus Cutlery had been supplying the world with reliable, innovative and qualitymade knives that have survived the true test of time. As one of the oldest knife manufacturers, Camillus Cutlery always answered the call but. due to the perfect economic storm, in 2006 they closed their doors and ceased business operations. This was truly a sad day in knifedom.
Since then the old Camillus Cutlery was bought up and renamed Camillus Knives. Now the new-look Camillus Knives is once again honing its edges with fresh new hunting, fishing, sporting and tactical knife designs. These knives still carry the same old-school Camillus craftsmanship and reliability, but the designs are sleeker and more innovative top-shelf modern features like G-10 handles, high-performance blade steels and unique opening mechanisms. Oso Grande Knives carries the full selection of Camillus knives, from tactical tanto blade folders to fixed-blade survival knives.
I purchased two sets of these exceptionally priced and well made cutlery sets to give as Christmas gifts. I was very pleased with the overall quality of both the knives and the block. However, even more exceptional was the customer service provided by Bibiana when my shipment was stalled by a production slowdown. She provided super communication and kept everything on an even keel up through delivery. I couldn't ask for a better transaction.
