i realy like the super tool 300 but what i didnt like was the shipping wich was suppose to be 3 to 7 buisness days but was more like 10 but i can live with that but then when i open the box up i notice right away that the product is already scratched pretty badly its loose and dosent feel right was realy disapointed in that coming from leatherman i was expecting only the best
Leatherman really does stand behind their products and their warranty. Fantastic customer service. I'm so happy with my experience that I just bought a second Leatherman.
Overall a great tool, just wanted to make a short point. I'm left handed and I noticed that when you use the pliers with your left hand and grab onto the tool with your fingertips to open up the pliers, you sometimes tend to reach the knife blade with your fingertips, pulling the knife slightly open. With the sheeps foot blade, it's not a problem, but if it happens with the plain edge clip point, the point of the blade gets exposed and it seems you might cut yourself if you're not careful. Might be something to think about for further products. Maybe this issue has been pointed out before, but I figured I'd mention it all the same.
the 300 I've had for 5 years which replaced a simalar model that I had for 6 or 7 years. Doing handyman work I never leave without it
Quite the best however many dollars I spent on it. I bought a supertool in 1992 as I recall. I still have it (24 years later) and it goes on every expedition with me. The tip is broken off the serrated blade, and the serrated blade lock is chipped, but otherwise it seems bulletproof. I used it for 8 years in the military, then retrained as a geologist and have used it ever since. Now I teach geology and my students are in awe of this thing. Its older than they are, and tougher :)
I've carried a Core in the past, and upgraded to the Supertool 300 when they came out, and honestly feel as naked without my Supertool as I do when leaving my CCW handgun at home! Twice I've been broke down on the side of the road, and using nothing other than my Leatherman multitool have repaired the vehicle & gotten going again! Being a semi-retired gunsmith, I am always using it whether at the range, or even at home. The combination of specific tools in the Supertool are perfect for a wide variety of uses. The Supertool is much improved over the Core due to the replaceable cutters in the pliers jaws. Previously I was always concerned about messing up the cutters in the Core jaws to the point if being afraid to use them. With thr Supertool 300 all I have to do is replace the cutter inserts. There are many imitators but Leatherman is the best!
Years ago I started building bugout bags for myself and friends. Back then I bought various multi tools for testing. I tested them for durability in: salt water, battery acid, cold weather, hot weather and stress tested for durability. I wanted only the best because I felt my life might depend on it. My Super tool won and became my EDC tool. Sadly, I lost that one. But rather than re-test, I felt comfortable with the design and metallurgy and bought the Super tool 300. I have used it to fix cars, fixing computers, camping; everything but surgery - although I bet it'd excel at that too!
I've owned a Leatherman previously and this new Super Tool 300 is excellent. It feels sturdy but not heavy. I also like the release tabs on the sides; making it easier to unlock the tools without fear of accidentally cutting yourself. It does come with a case for it and the case is a very good case.
This is my 4th evolution of tool. Collectively ive had an leatherman with me for over 20yrs, this is the first one with an nylon case. Ive bought this one about 6 months ago and the case is falling apart, which has never happened with any of the leather cases ive owned with any other leatherman
I cannot get throu my day without using my 300. The only thing I would consider changing is the pliers tip. For a lot of my jobs shorter and thicker would be stronger less likely to break. But please don't change that if it means lowering quality somwhere else.
As a building Inspector I use my Super tool almost every day. I have a large tool bag full of tools, but it seems when I am the a long away from the bag of tools, there is my Leatherman. I cannot effectively do my work as an Inspector without my Super Tool.
I had a Supertool for over 14 years, using it on a daily basis doing ranch work. Leatherman replaced it with a Supertool 300 after a blade broke. All the shortages of the original were improved - a very good tool became a great tool. Don't see any way this tool could be improved

I love these tools they are great. I bought the Wave and then two days later bought ST300 and, just before that bought the Juice S2 and the Squart PS4. Love all of them oh, I also have the Wingman I bought all of them inside of a 2 1/2 week period. Did I say I love them to me they make the Gerber look stupid.
I was given this as a birthday present about 5 years ago. I keep it in my car at all times and even use it in the garage. It has got me home several times after breaking down. The whole product is great quality and has done everything I have asked of it. I need to get the knife blade replaced but this is purely down to treating it poorly.
Leatherman is still the best. I was a bit disappointed with the newest ST model, just because it seemed to be a few steps backwards. I would never give up my original, however the newest model will take some getting use to. I would never use anything but Leatherman products, so let's see how it does.
I could sit here all day writing stories I made with my supertool 300 on my side. It has saved a life (a pig's life but still good), it's saved people from getting up to open beer. I brought this tool everywhere with me. It was 2 years on a farm until I finally broke the saw blade off. When I got home I started looking for a reciept to see if the warranty was valid. When I checked online and found any tool has a warranty I thought I'd give it a shot. Finally got to sending it last week and already have a new one in my hand. Over all the tools are rugid and the employees are helpful and kind. Don't go anywhere else for a lifetime tool.
Although I liked my original Super Tool so well I never thought to replace it during 9 years of reliable service, I finally updated to the 300 version. Much as I was fond of the original, closing the implements safely required concentration, sometimes a precarious proposition, like when up on a ladder or trying to hold on to something. The ST solved that situation with the locking levers, and in addition, the implements were easier to access. While crunching hard with Super Tool pliers required gloves or a padded up bandana to protect my hands from the sharp edged handles, the ST 300's rolled edges eliminated that issue. It's a personal call, of course, but I always found the ST blades and implements just about ideal, and the ST 300 set even better. It's a bit bigger and heavier, but carried on the belt there is little, if any, felt difference. In the hand, it's just fine. I have several other Leatherman tools that I like in their respective size categories, but when I expect serious multi-tool use, the Super Tool 300 is always what I reach for.
I used the Super tool for everything that I could remember to use it for. I just returned an earlier model that I abused and Leatherman sent me a new Supertool 300 to replace it. Love it. On the same time that returned the Leatherman I returned a Gerber multi tool. I confirmed that they were both received to the repair locations for both companies, which are located in the same city. I contacted Leatherman and they said it was processed and had been replaced and was on its way back to me. I then contacted Gerber and was told that they have it and it will be looked at and repaired in the next ten days. I can wait now that I have my leatherman back. Thanks for the fast service and great product.

I HAVE IT ON MY BELT ALL THE TIME FOR A SMALL QUICK REPAIR OR CUT,GRAB,TRIST THAT IS GETTING IN MY WAY,I USE IT TO THE POINT WERE THEY ARE SO LOOSE ONE FLICK OF THE HANDLE THEY OPEN AND READY TO GRAB SOMETHING. I HAVE ABUSED ALL SUPPER TOOL MODLES LOVE THE WAY THEY WORK EVERY COUPLE YEAR I NEED A NEED A NEW ONE I TRY TO KEEP A SPARE READY TO GO
The leather case is not as durable as they used to be. I have bought many of your products and the old cases were twice as thick and twice as strong, bring them back please. I like the new engraving, should be slightly larger though. Still love the tool and will buy again for me and as gifts.
I carry my supertool with me on and off the job. On the job my tool has saved me tons of steps and climbing by its versatility and strength. I have used it under extremes of cold and heat and never had it fail me. This is my second super tool. The one my Dad gave me I had for ten. Years before it was stolen.I appreciate the replaceable cutters and redesign in that it is much more comfortable than my previous tool. The craftsmanship is unequalled. I am a happy Leatherman Supertool 300 user.
After a week of use it has already played itself off. Would like a better sheath.
Used this product a handful of times first the flat bit snapped off on a regular screw with minimal torque then the jaw broke off while crimping wires
I have many Leatherman multitools, and I love all of them. But when I have to use a multitool to get a job done I almost always use the Supertool 300. It is robust and affordable. The price is relatively cheap so you don't mind to damage the tool. In my opinion it is the best compromise between quality and price among Leatherman products. It is a pity there are no scissors, that I use many times, so I have to carry another Leatherman with me.
the only problem it has are the handles pretty much. it digs into my hand sometimes. the weight is not a problem at all. it only shifts in my pocjetand its a bit annoying. the thing is a rock. everything i need is there but scissors. i would exchange the awl for the them. they have more uses and you can us one of the blades as an awl too.
I use this tool all the time I build and deliver trusses for a job i am wanna go to the railroad witch the st 300 or will go with me. I have always been in construction I am a hunter and a out doors man and I put multi tools and knives through the ringer so if you will so to speek. And few can last a month with me or my brother. This letherman st 300 has lasted over 3 years being put still going strong to the test fixing wiring on trailers to fixing fences and more. It is crazy tuff and reliable I love leatherman tools and will always buy a leatherman product.
The Supertool 300, is just one hell of a tool. And again. I have used the first version, I had the second version (Super Tool 200) And now the Super Tool 300, every time it gets better and better. I use it mostly on my work, as rig mechanic on a drilling rig on the North Sea, and it never let me down, I use it for small electrical jobs, till mechanical jobs. And during my days of, I take it with me on my mountaineering trips and travel.
I use this tool in the fleet and I put it through the paces. But this has to be one of the best multi tools I've ever owned.
Used this tool to remove the battery cables from a vehicle that was having an electrical fire.
Love my new super tool 300. Compared to the 200 model the 300 has better locking mechanism, and it is easier to use. I would recommend this tool for anyone.
I am using super tool 300 every every for maintenance and hobbies. Super tool 300 is my second Leatherman kit tool first one that I bought was wave and it was unfortunately stolen from me. I both Leatherman super two 300 mainly for every day use for my hobbies my job almost for everything. I would recommend Leathermans 300 to everyone for everyday use or the hobbies or whatever they are planning to do with it the super till 300 is very strong especially the pliers are excellent well almost everything about him is perfect
I use the super tool 300 everyday at work home going camping to work on my truck and it is so reliable I love leatherman products.
I work on a 12 acre horse farm, I herd horses, fix fences, fix plumbing, electrical you name it I do it. This tool is perfect its sturdy, its strong. Anything you ask it to do it'll do no problem.
I have to say that despite trepidations of ordering online, my transaction with Oso Grande was absolutely flawless.
