I like the product. I have to be very cautious, however, in swirling the brush handle so as to make suds. I am afraid that the marble handle, knocking against the lip of the marble bowl may eventually crack the handle or the bowl's lip. I try to keep my fingers around the brush handle so that the two pieces of marble do not collide. How could this design problem be fixed? A more shallow bowl. a span of "rubber" around the brush handle? etc.?

This set is awesome! This complete shave set is very well made and an excellent bargain! It looks good, shaves good and is truly a great deal compared to other complete shaving sets. Did I mention that it is a truly unique set as well. I also have an Edwin Jagger model 89 DE razor which fits the stand perfectly and looks great.

Set is exactly as pictured and looks great sitting on your bathroom counter. Base and post are solid and well made. I received this as a christmas present. The bowl fits perfectly into a milled-out spot in the base that keeps it from sliding off the base. I like the Mach 3 and was very happy to have the fancy handle rather than the standard handle. The badger brush isn't quite as full as the one I had been using but I think it's actually a little softer (very soft) and whips up a great lather. I'm not saying it's a meager brush, it's a very nice brush. I'm very happy with this set and would certainly buy it again, especially at this price. Check around, no other supplier even comes close.
