Its easy to take apart and to put back. really good quality and sturdy. the only thing i dont like is the plastic parts which i feel like may break one day. however it seems to be holding up fine. Dont buy any other folding shovel unless theres a high quality one issued by the U.S. military you can get. This is the best.

I keep this in my Jeep and have used it many, many times. I also use it at home to dig up small trees and shrubs for relocation to enhance our landscape. It is well-built and sturdy and takes hardly any room under my seat.

Needs optional extension shafts for modular survival kit / walking stick use. Waterproof tube holds 200-lumen torch similar to Freescape and first-aid kit plus user's choice in remaining space (e.g. firestarter)

Brutally effective. Used the Army E-Tool for 3 wars and 33 years. The Gerber product is better.

Bought to keep in trunk of car for emergencies. Only had to use it once in the snow so far. It is sturdy and well built.
