The Cold Steel Left Handed US Naval Sword is truly a battle worthy reproduction sword. This sword is faithful in every detail to government specifications; it has a highly polished blade, appropriate etching and a quality hilt and scabbard. The only real change is a drastic improvement in performance as a weapon because the blade is forged from 1055 Carbon Steel and properly heat treatied to a tough spring temper before sharpening the forward edge. While non issue, this sword is also available per Lynn Thompson's insistence with a more combative ray skin grip.
