Boar Bristle Shave Brushes

Hog bristle "boar" brushes (aka pure bristle, white or sketched) are stronger and thicker than badger hair brushes. Boar bristles are not as flexible as badger hair. When water comes into the hog-bristles they are not as elastic as badger hair and the user cannot make the shaving soap as creamy as he could do with a badger shave brush. That's why hog bristle brushes are the least expensive class of shaving brushes.
