Poor mans Randall Model 1-7 Bowie style fighter. Professional tool for the Professional Warrior. The only tool to carry when your life literally depends on it!
I am more than happy with this Bowie. It is robust yet very classic and beautiful. I know that unlike many Bowies out there this one will withstand real rough use in the real rough world. I have decided to add it to my collection. The blade razor sharp and I love the convex grind! Without any doubt this blade would make Jim Bowie proud.
This is a great USA made combat style blade. I support American made quality blades at well below Randall made knives price or timeline to delivery and it is just as functional for the task they were designed to do in my opinion. The leather sheath is also a beautiful piece of craftsmanship and nicely rounds out the package!
I have several Blackjack knives and they are very well made and come extremely sharp. I highly recommend Blackjack knives!
I collect knives. There is not a single knife that can do everything but when things go bad the model 7 will be on my belt. This Knife has plenty of Pros and absoltely NO Cons....

A knife to carry in the wilderness. Good for what come down the pike. The knife you need when you really need a knife. Not the bushcraft knife you take for your weekend survival training exercises. The knife you grab when the stuff hits the fan. A knife to fight off charging grizzlies and wild dog packs. A knife to give you the confidence to face the things that go bump in the middle of the night.
I highly recommend this classic bowie style knife. I have several Randall knives and Blackjack Knives and this is my favorite. The quality is excellent. The balance is spot on and I love the convex blade grind. For the price and the fact that it is made in the USA you just can't go wrong.
