Boker Plus SanYouGo Green Fixed Blade Knife, 3.4 Inch Satin PlainEdge, 03BO051. The SanYouGo is a Boker Plus line knife, designed by Jesper Voxnaes. It is a classic Santoku knife reduced to the essentials. This concept allows the user to be closer to the action, with the forefinger on the back of the blade, and the short, arched handle in the palm, held by the middle and ring fingers, offering maximum control. The rugged handle scales are green Micarta with a red fiber layer. The blade is X50CrMoV15 steel for ultimate sharpness. Includes a leather sheath with lanyard, neck hole (without belt loop). It's the ultimate outdoor companion!

Using it for some years now. And I fully agree with the statement that it's an excellent food prep knife. Looks deceive. But it's always in my pocket during my frequent barbeque sessions. It's also surprisingly light and comfortable. Definitely recomendable!

Wanted a small fixed blade for food preparation because I didn't want to have to clean out the nooks and crannies of a folder. This thing is very compact, I have to use my middle and ring finger hooked around the back with my index either on top of the spine or on the right side in the handshake grip. The included leather sheath has no belt loop, but for something this size it's easier to stuff into a bag.
