The Cold Steel Mini Tac Tanto Neck Knife is incredibly light weighing in at only 3 ounces! Because it is so lightweight, it can be comfortably worn practically 24 hours a day. With it's sturdy bead chain lanyard and the rugged Secure Ex sheath (specially designed to snugly retain the knife while allowing a speedy draw stroke), it can be worn outside clothing and perform as a handy utility or rescue knife. This covert neck knife can also be carried discreetly under a shirt or blouse, or inside a coat. Because of the stout construction of this neck knife it can even be used for camping or hiking as it can easily be tied or taped anywhere from a backpack to a fanny pack.

The versatility of the Mini Tac knife is virtually endless. Fashioned from Japanese AUS 8A stainless steel and reflecting state of the art heat treatment it is honed to a razor edge and exhibits incredible toughness for such a small knife, due in part to it's full tang construction.

Tough, rough, and ready for anything, this handy neck knife comes equipped with thin high quality black Faux G-10 handle scales. This feature allows them to lie flat and close against the body and provide an aggressive gripping surface. Also when these scales are combined with integral sub hilt they give the fingers of the hand incredible purchase and allow a remarkably secure grip that resists rolling or twisting.

For a knife this size, the Mini Tac Tanto offers a remarkably wide, stiff blade and a very sturdy reinforced point, making it ideal for piercing even tough, hard objects. As an added bonus, its wide blade allows for a very generously sized hollow ground blade bevel and an extra keen edge so it can cut almost as well as it pierces.

Optional C-Clip Converts Neck Sheath to a Belt Sheath: Expand your carry options with a C-Clip belt adapter which will enable you to also carry your Knife on your belt! The belt adapter includes mounting slots that facilitate wearing your knife vertically, upside down, or even in a forward or backward slant! All the essential hardware (screws and rubber washers) is included. Plus, it can be attached to either side of your sheath so, if desired, you can even wear your knife inside your waistband!
