Great product for a competition thrower. Arrived super sharp in the box and will keep an edge. Well balanced and has good weight for all throwing styles. Cutting edge is extremely thin and will chip and/or bend from contact with hard surfaces (ie. Concrete floors).

I own several Cold Steel tomahawks and have wanted their Axe Gang Hatchet for awhile now. The price and quality are good. The balance feels more towards the head than on some of the tomahawks. The handle has a pronounced oval shape, whereas the tomahawk handles are more rounded and comfortable to grip. Still, it swings and chops well. I haven%u2019t thrown it and probably won%u2019t. Overall, a good value.

Out of the box, this thing is ready to throw and it meets all NATF and WATL regulations! Plus it looks cool. I've thrown a lot of axes and so far, this is my absolute favorite! The 4"-face and thin profiled blade with those sharp corners really dig into the wood when it hits, reducing the chance for a drop. The hickory handle feels good in your hand and indexes really well so you're always lined up for a perfect throw.

I was looking for a new axe to throw in competition. I picked up this axe. It was a little long for my taste so I cut it down to about 15 inches in length. Its a joy to throw and doesnt fatigue my shoulder due to its light weight.
It%u2019s also very durable. Try this low cost beauty out for yourself!
