Honing Oil
Honing oil needs to be used on Arkansas stones and most Benchstones in order to properly sharpen.
Note: Japanese waterstones are lubricated with water only. Do not use oil on them as it can ruin them.

I purchased two sets of these exceptionally priced and well made cutlery sets to give as Christmas gifts. I was very pleased with the overall quality of both the knives and the block.
