High quality self-defense knife. It is a highly concealable neck knife that I wear everyday no matter what clothes I wear. It takes some time to learn how to grab your knife from the sheath and draw it without cutting yourself. It feels nice and ergonomic in my hands (I have medium sized hands), The knife fits in the sheath very well, and the retention is perfect. The factory edge has not failed me yet, but due to the purpose of the knife, I would not put it through wear and tear of outdoor activities as it's obviously made for everyday security that you can hide. I highly recommend this knife especially at such a reasonable price!

I wear this as a neck knife and use it for food prep at meals. The 4 inch blade works perfectly for my needs. Although the blade needs frequent touch ups due to contact with dishes, a few passes on a ceramic rod keeps it shaving sharp. Love the Spike from Cold Steel!
This knife is really great and I love it!!!!! It's quality made and you can see it, it has good grip and a firm hold. I'll be using this as my main letter opener.
