Cold Steel's Ti-Lite folding knives evoke the sleek speed and rebellious lines of the classic 1950's switchblade. The Ti-Lite VI mega folding knife features a sharp and strong CPM-S35VN stainless steel blades and CNC milled 7075 Aluminum handles which are finished with a protective EDP (Electric Discharge Plating) coating. The Ti-Lite 6 is equipped with Cold Steel's patent pending, stainless steel leaf spring lock (proven, in their tests, to hold upwards of 145 lbs). For ease of carry, the Ti-Lite XL comes equipped with a small, but unobtrusive steel pocket clip, and can be opened rapidly by using the thumb studs or by snagging a quillon on the edge of your pocket as you draw your knife out. Cold Steel is grateful to custom knife maker, Phil Boguszewski, for his design influence and help in the creation of the Ti-Lites.

This is a Big knife! It is large and very well built. I am really impressed by the blade lockup as it is solid and secure and I dont have to worry about it folding up on me when in use.
This aluminum handled TI-LITE does not disappoint and it is an upgrade to my previous blade that I had for nearly ten years. Light and a quick draw, it cuts through anything I've needed it for and has proven to be durable over long periods.
This is a very large well built knife with a needle sharp blade. I am very impressed with the Triad Lock. no worries about it folding up and cutting my fingers off when I use it. I highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a serious blade for defensive purposes.
Very large well built knife! Well balanced with a nice handle weight and the knife feels very sturdy while cutting. So far the blade edge is holding up well.
Handles like an italian stiletto on steroids. Really fast opening and extremely sharp out of the box. Rock solid blade lockup. It is a very big knife with an equally big attitude. Quality construction that will last a long time.
Love this knife! My new EDC. Super fast opening by snagging the quillion on your pocket while drawing.
Fantastic knife! Came razor sharp out the box. Deploys fast and smooth which was pleasantly surprising for such a long blade. Nice loud click clack when deployed. Very intimidating. Not a camping knife unless you need it to take something or someone down. Super sturdy build. Pocket carry is good. Nice short secure clip. Not too heavy. This is the ultimate urban EDC.
Excellent craftmanship! Bought as a 'mere' replacement for the Smith & Wesson CK114L (no longer made). This knife is by far better, in every way! Shaving sharp, right out of the box. Materials are superior, from the steel blade to the handles; lock/release is tight, no 'slop' in it or the blade. Overall, a great knife! It IS huge, but fits well in either jeans or dress pants pocket with minimal profile. Intimidation factor when opened is off the charts - it scared ME just laying on the table! So impressed, I came back & ordered the 4 inch as an EDC. Very happy & impressed with the knife. The 2 to 5 day shipping only took 9 days, so do not pay more for less.
I bought the Zytel model and took it back the next day. Whenever I put it in my pocket, the blade would deploy and and when I finally sat down with it in my pocket, I ended up with nearly an inch of blade stuck in my leg. I may try again with the aluminum handled one later, but I'm not going to until I actually get to try one out first.
Cold steel perfection yet again.
Another outstanding knife from Cold Steel. This amazing well balanced knife is paper shaving sharp. But very big. I was looking for the biggest knife I could carry in my pocket. If you are looking for an EDC knife you may want the 4 inch model.
"I bought 2 of this model, one for myself and one for a relative, I also got 1 of the 4"" models. Tested them out on a 15 lb. piece of beef, both blades went through it like butter, stabbing into meat no effort little pressure needed, letting gravity take effect i dropped them from about 1.5 feet and each penetrated half way into the meat. Using the 4 inch I did a reverse grip slash and the depth of the slice is something id expect from a much bigger knife. My relative tested the point by doing 4 med power stabs into a metal plate and dozens of throws into hard wood, the point still looks as it did coming out of the box. Super fast opening whichever method is used, very fine blade, the 4 inch is my edc now. Highly recommend this line of knives."
I was looking for a sharp knife that stayed sharp. I know little about types of metal and all the lingo that the hardcore knife collectors have but I do know that this knife has cut when it was needed and it is just as sharp now as when I bought it would buy it again and would recommend it to others.
This is one of the best personal defense knifes I have ever owned. You can puncture the heart or aortic valve easier than any other edged weapon I have ever used. If you need to make an edged kill trust me this is the blade for you.
Thanks to Cold Steel for their product, it truly is a professionals choice.
