Created by celebrated custom-knife maker Andrew Demko, the Tiger Claw karambit is an exciting multi-functional folder is simply overflowing with design innovations! The hawkbill style blade was designed following Andrew Demko's extensive testing and experimentation as a journeyman electrician and engineer. When making his own multi-purpose handmade work knives, he made his own karambit/hawkbill hybrid blade that could cut rope, cable, wire and anything else his vocation threw in his path.

This knife served him well through years of hard use, and, when tasked by Cold Steel to develop his own take on a folding Karambit, this blade shape immediately came to mind.

Replicating Andrew's original blade design but in premium CPM-S35VN stainless steel, the Tiger Claw offers the tactical cutting and slashing performance of the Filipino and Indonesian fighting karambit with the utility and function of a working man's hawkbill.

With the patented Demko thumb-plate, the Tiger Claw offers a fully ambidextrous fast draw from the pocket either in a saber grip or a traditional blade-down karambit grip, deploying the blade with lightning fast ease!

Made with his signature minimalist style, Demko's Tiger Claw features a slim line CNC machined US G10 handle, a matte black aluminum ring and perhaps most excitingly of all, the all new locking system! The uniquely modified Tri-Ad locking system features all of the strength, reliability and performance of the world famous Tri-Ad lock, but with fully ambidextrous one-handed forward release opening - making this knife a breeze to open and close with one hand regardless of how you choose to carry or deploy it!

It is the biggest karambit I bought. It is one of the sharpest and my first full serrated blade. It feels deadly in my hand and light. Cuts through paper like butter. I have to say one of my most favorite of cold steels products. I hesitated on buying this karambit for a long time and I am glad I got it.

Very sharp out the box and weight is pretty light for its size. My first fully serrated blade. It is also my biggest karambit I bought so far. I love it. Thanks Osogrande knives. I have been very hesitant on purchasing tiger claw for a long time, but after seeing your price I had to order one and I did not regret it.

Great knife! Razor sharp out of the box. Not too thick and bulky for Pocket carry. Aluminum ring has generous hole for gloved hand. The G10 is perfectly textured. Thumb stud perfect, no wobble in blade and lock up is second to none. Blade geometry is perfect. One issue is the ability to wave it out consistently with jeans or thicker pants - the gap between thumb stud and blade is too narrow to grip jeans securely under deployment - it should be wider. Going to send it to get modified to remedy the wavedeployment.

I find the best way to carry is in back pocket - that way when deployed quickly the angle of draw will ensure more consistent deployment of blade and orient the blade in hand optimally without flipping. Highly recomended. The team at oso Grande is superb - I have not had better service anywhere.

I got one of each the serrated and non-serrated. these are very strong built knives. Great blade quality. I have somewhat larger hands and like and prefer over my Emerson and Spyderco. Much better blades in my opinion.

Super sharp right out of the box. Ergonomically it fits the hand very well. Overall I really like this blade. The only thing that I wish it had is in place of the thumb stud to open one handed is the emerson styled pocket catch. The stud used does not deploy anywhere near as smoothly as the emerson or fox karambit. Outside of that one small thing this is a fantastic knife & I highly recommend grabbing one for your collection.

Massive Karambit! Came typically razor sharp---as with all of the Cold Steel products I have purchased in the past. It fits great in my hand and functions smoothly. It is everything that I expect from Cold Steel and OsoGrande. I will be back! :-{)
